Getting started
Quick start
Your own Talky in three steps, with no prior knowledge and no developer.
You don't need any web development skills or prompt craft. A guided form asks only what it needs to know. TalkyPage finds everything else by itself.
1. Add your website
In the customer area under Websites you add your website in three short steps:
- Which website is it? Name and address. TalkyPage detects redirects and suggests main, sub and alias domains.
- Which languages does the Talky greet in? You choose the languages in which it offers to talk.
- Who talks to your visitors? You choose a Talky from the templates. You can change it at any time later.
TalkyPage then reads your website. The first read of every domain is free.
2. Set it up
The website has tabs. Work through them at your own pace. None is mandatory:
| Tab | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Overview | The state of the website and what is still missing before it can go online. |
| Talky | Figure, voice, name, character, greeting, Design and Place. |
| Pages | Choose in the page tree what the Talky should know. |
| Knowledge | Documents, Entries and To clarify. |
| Forms | Set for each form what the Talky does with it. |
| Goals | Audiences and conversation goals. |
| Preview | Try the Talky on your real website. |
| Embedding | Get the embed code. |
3. Switch online
The overview tells you what is still missing before your Talky can go online:
- a plan or credit,
- the accepted terms and conditions and the data processing agreement,
- a chosen protection profile, even if it is "No protection profile".
Then you add the embed code to your website and switch online. Taking it offline takes one click.
Rather try it than read about it? Talk to our Talky, or we'll set up a preview on your own website.
