Character and personality
From serious to friendly to completely mad, built from traits, your own words and a free text.
You decide how your Talky speaks. It can be a matter-of-fact information desk, a warm host or a circus ringmaster who greets every visitor like his audience. The character changes nothing about the facts: the Talky always answers from your knowledge.
Traits on six axes
You put the character together from traits, sorted on six axes:

On top of that there are more than 20 other traits such as patient, plain language, expert, reassuring, storyteller, down-to-earth, elegant, understated, child-friendly, charming or a robot, and likes it. Hover over a trait to see the sentence the Talky gets for it.
Your own words and free text
If the traits are not enough, write your own words, such as "dry northern wit" or "talks like a mountain guide". Under More about you describe in free text what makes your Talky: its story, its favourite words, what it would never say.
From serious to extreme
This is how differently the same Talky can answer the question "Are you open on Sunday?":
- Businesslike: "Yes. Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm."
- Warm: "Sunday? Our favourite day! From ten till six."
- Circus ringmaster: "Clear the ring! On Sundays we open the tent at ten sharp."
- Diva: "Darling, of course I'm open on Sundays."
Strong characters suit brands that are allowed to be fun: breweries, events, leisure, trade fairs. For medical practices and law firms, calm and clear traits work best.
Greeting
The greeting is your Talky's first sentence. As a gist, it phrases it afresh in every conversation; word for word, it says exactly your text. It always adds the note that it is an AI.
In all languages
You write texts such as the greeting and "More about" in one language. When you save, TalkyPage translates them into the other languages of your Talky. You can adjust the translation yourself afterwards.
Limits that always apply
No character overrides the rules: the Talky stays recognisable as an AI, answers from your knowledge, opens only your pages and keeps to the protection profile you have chosen.
